Bidrage med feedbackThe Hibachi was delicious and the variety of sushi and rolls they had was amazing! I'm definitely back.
One of the few restaurants in the area that does not serve generic American cuisine. Spacious, clean, organized interior with the right sound level to facilitate conversations that promote the table. We went with a combination of Sushi and Hibachi. The sushi was really on point excellent taste, freshness, assembly and execution. The chefs special roles are the ones that are oriented towards it. Hibachi was tasteful, but heavy on the sweet sauce. They somehow had a hard time to understand that we had the Hibachi plates (as we also shared the sushi) instead of dinner plates we were given the small appetizer plates several times to share. As Long Islanders pamper with our possibilities of Japanese (and in general world cuisine), this jewel is rejoiced in unexpected rural Pennsylvania.
If you want authentic Hibachi food for this area, this is the place to go! It's just sitting, but never a farewell! Food is consistent and not salty and overdone, does not let you flower after. Sushi is great! Love this place!
For the location I was very impressed by the food and quality. The service was also good, and they have yummy Pina Colada?s!
The 1st time I ordered take out it was good. The next time I got this (see image). This is unacceptable to serve someone, especially someone PAYING for your food. After the 3rd time I ordered take out and not once was the server kind or respectful, I'm done. I will spend my money at China Garden across the street where the food is good and the owners and staff are kind and attentive. One other thing, Atami staples their bags closed so you have to go through ripping open the paper bags to actually check your food/condition. I think they prefer you don't. Shady.
