Irvine Grill

Chicken Shish was very flavorful with smoky hints. It’s a big platter so you can easily share with another person if you both are not big eaters. It comes with a lot of rice (dunno why? and a very nice salad.Shrimp platter was delicious with juicy grilled shrimps and mushrooms with it. It also comes with a lot of rice and a very different kind of chopped salad.Overall, the food was very fresh and delicious! The best part is their flatbread! Thin and just right!

The absolute worst service I have ever had. We waited at our table for 40 minutes, and placed a to go order because our serve never came back. We ended up having to place our to go order with the hostess who took care of the rest of the transaction. After waiting 30 more minutes we find out our order was never placed after we paid our bill. It was the worst dining experience I have had in quite sometime and will not be back.

Downgrading to 3 stars. I came here on a Sunday afternoon. I waited about 20 minutes to get a table, and was seated outside on the patio.The service is usually pretty good, but this day was not up to par. It was really difficult to get my waiter's attention and took way too long (over 10 minutes) for simple things like refilling my drink. I had to ask other employees (one busboy and one other server) to call the waiter over.The food was still very good, but I feel like the portion sizes have shrunk immensely! My dad ordered the lamb shank with baghali polo, and the one lamb shank he received was pretty small. For $25, I would expect a little bit more than what he got. I ordered the loobia polo with a side of beef koobideh. Again, for another $25 or so, I would have expected a bit more than what looked like one or two scoops of loobia polo. Also, the salad shirazi that came with the loobia polo was severely lacking in the lemon juice/olive oil dressing.I'm hoping that this place improves both their service and portion sizes, especially considering the prices, next time I come back.

Wow. Finally a Persian restaurant in OC that meets all the criteria. Definitely a welcoming staff with great manners, elegant food presentation, an atmosphere with good energy and most importantly delicious food. We arrives out of town guests, arrived at 6pm and left at 9:15. We did not notice 3+ hours thanks to the great ambiance, colorful food and warm staff. I hope Irvine Grill stays consistent.

Very good persian food! High quality ingredients and consistently good. A good value ! A very good spot to meet for business or semi-casual meal! Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Very authentic and tasty!Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, accessible!
