The Boathouse Inn Irlam

Great pub, drinks and eating. was there for a dog show where luna won the third prize in the most beautiful female category. can't complain too much as the sweetest miniature daisy welpe ever won 1.

Popped in for a coffee whilst out walking with friends on a lovely Spring day. The pub is light and airy. The coffee was lovely and hot. There is no shelter out the back anymore and only high seats (where there used to be benches) overlooking the old river Irwell. This wouldn't suit my mum, as she has mobility problems. Didn't sample the food, so can't comment on that.

I can honestly say I was well impressed tonite with the staff and management team. Our drinks were exchanged without any problem due to the gas being flat in the lemonade and Mike is an outstanding barman and a real credit to the pub.

Been in the Boat House for food a couple of times in the past few days and it was excellent on both occassions. The food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, they even allow dog walkers and have water bowls and treats set up at the front door for any dog visitors too.

I visited last night for the quiz and to take advantage of the 2-for-1 offers on main meals. I must say, I had the most delicious steak cooked to perfection—definitely one of the best I've had in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking. I highly recommend this pub!
