Yummy Shawarma - Iqaluit

The shawarma at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, authentic, fresh, moist, and flavourful. We had a great conversation with the gentlemen who served us. The donairs and pizza also look delicious!

I have visited Iqaluit a few times for work and I always make sure to stop by Yummy Shawarma for a meal. The food is fantastic, especially the beef Shawarma and stuffed grape leaves. The portions are generous and the staff are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Iqaluit.

I called in to order a large chicken shawarma for delivery from Yummy Shawarma. After waiting for over an hour and not receiving my food, I called to inquire about my order. The lady on the phone explained that they had many orders and that my food would be delivered when the driver returned. Frustrated by the lack of apology and uncertain ETA, I decided to cancel my order. However, when I was informed that the driver was already on the way, I felt guilty and agreed to keep the order. 30 minutes passed and I still had not received my food, so I attempted to cancel again by calling three times. Each time, I was either declined or placed on hold without any explanation. I was disappointed by the poor handling of the situation by Yummy Shawarma and their lack of communication with customers. I ultimately did not receive my food after waiting for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I recommend picking up the food instead of opting for delivery and hope that the restaurant improves their customer service in the future.

Yummy indeed Beef shawarma devine the large is lots! But the salad definitely wins the favourite of the evening. We ordered a pizza crust with cheese and garlic! No doubt I would go out of my way to go whenever I am in town!

A definite place to stop by for something to eat! We had great service and the owner is a great guy!
