The Plough - Ipswich

This pub last week in the frame of a pub crawl on a weekday. we loved the place so much we went back to the end of the day in a much worse condition than what we arrived at the first place! great drink selection, fantastic menu selection to very cheap trips. friendly staff. the TV screens that show sky sports are really in the Badminton double game while we were there. beautiful small courtyard for smoking, in which also 2 TV screens. I can't put my finger entirely on why I love this pub so much, but I do it!

This pub is pleasant. If I'm not too hungry, I wouldn't order food again. It wouldn't be my first choice for dinner. The pub serves average pub grub. The view from any angle is a plus. It's a great spot for watching sports. A group area is available when reserved. The bar staff is very helpful, though they can get overwhelmed during busy times.

Great worth 2 for 1 cocktails and tasted super! always love to stop here also for eating.

Good place to watch a variety of sports. Well positioned in town with food and taxis nearby for when you are done. I admit I've not had the food but it looks great. Staff are friendly. Great live music on many occasions. Especially after an evening of sport.

We appreciate the Plough. It is a cozy and welcoming pub, conveniently located near the bus station if you've had a bit too much to drink. They offer delicious English dishes at affordable prices. Our go-to meal is always the all day brunch, which never disappoints!
