We will start with some of the most flavorful Mexican dishes I've eaten anywhere in the country. Conchinta Pibil Mayan spiced pork shoulder w/ achiote, sour orange and spices wrapped in banana leaves. Lamb Barbacoa tacos Shrimp tacos Ribeye tacos Throw in Grateful Dead playing on the dining room, autographed concert posters lining the walls, original local art, and your have one happy foodie.

Gluten free and vegan options. Plus, a great staff and delicious food. An Iowa City gem. I recommend a spicy margarita and Pechugas de Poblanos. From the menu: Strips of delicious chicken breast, poblano peppers onion, sautéed together with poblano cream and covered with our three white cheese blend. Get corn tortillas on the side and OMG.

Always stellar food, get the queso it’s the best you’ll ever have! Recommend the mushroom taco as well.

I ordered a burrito and let me tell you, it was great! The meat(chicken) was cooked just right and the veggies and salsa inside the burrito was a nice touch to boost the flavor and add a hint of spice. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. One of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area. Would recommend!
