Avus - Ingolstadt

Very delicious food, good selection of wine, beautiful place

There are only two restaurants worth to visit in Ingolstadt. Avus is one of them even though interior is quite boring.

I was not so thrilled being there and I could go back but only when they have these special menus, just to give it one more chance.

I’ve been there several times and I do not find the place and the products something special but it is good enough to go back. They used to habe a buffet breakfast which was actually a good deal.

Went here for lunch after our factory tour and museum visit. While the selection is quite large and pretty good for a buffet style restaurant they do not have a very good selection for people with food allergies. My wife and I had to ask...repeatedly at each food station what was in the food. They have a listing of the allergens in the food at the entrance but that is of absolutely NO HELP when they don't have the same listings at the individual food stations! For a restaurant attached to a facility like Audi it was very, very disappointing and my wife had almost no food selection that addressed the most common allergies like wheat/gluten. I think this restaurant does a good job for the majority of people and quality wise but they really need to address and improve on the allergy front and mark what is in their food at those stations. Also need to offer more selection for those with allergies or some vegan options! Very Disappointing!
