I loved the merger between Alsace and Japan. We could find classic French dishes with Asian condiments, a very good mix. The only small dish was the half-cooked salmon I found a little too cooked. Otherwise at the level of flavor everything was there.
One of the best restaurants I've tested so far. A young menu at 109€ that really worth the trip to Illhaeusern in Alsace. I loved these dishes that combine both the finesse of traditional French cuisine and the poetry of Japanese cuisine that makes me travel, it's really very successful. Sublime. Just sublime. However, do not expect innovative dishes. It remains quite traditional but with a strong identity.
This restaurant embodies PERFECTION. The reception is smiling and warm, the place is beautiful, the service is irreproachable when in the kitchen it is extremely mastered and refined in quantities more than enough!
