Bidrage med feedbackThis place is located right at the convergence of Akbar road and Brig.Syed road. It serves South Indian breakfast and meals. It is very popular in the neighbourhood and rightly so. It follows the good old token system.<br/ I was introduced to this place by my neighbour, the first day we moved to Center Point and I have been a regular customer ever since. <br/ <br/ Food: <br/ I judge a breakfast place by the Chutney and Sambhar it serves. And this place excels in it. <br/ <br/ I love the white chutney served here. It is a mix of Coconut and Groundnut. It is not spicy like elsewhere and has the perfect consistency. It gets a little too salty once in a while.<br/ <br/ I am not a fan of red chutney in general, but this place serves a decent red chutney.<br/ <br/ The Sambhar has a tinge of sweetness to it and I love it. I get a lot of flak for this from my family. They believe that this is not the authentic Sambhar, but I'm happy with it. I never liked the authentic Sambhar anyway. It could be a little thicker though.<br/ <br/ Idly: The idlys are decently soft, not the best I've had. <br/ <br/ Wada: The best Wada I have ever had and I had a lot of Wadas :P . Has a perfect crisp coating on the outside and a fluffy inside. Goes very well with the Sambhar. Perfect golden colour and does not drip of oil.<br/ <br/ Upma: Before trying the Upma here, the only Upma I have ever had was homemade. And I was never a fan of it, but the Upma here is delicious. It is perfectly soft and flavourful. Goes really well with the white chutney.<br/ <br/ Plain Dosa: It is perfectly crisp and has a nice golden colour.<br/ <br/ MLA Dosa: I always called it Upma Dosa. The moisture from the Upma makes the dosa less crisp, but I think the Upma does to the dosa, what butter does to bread; makes it richer. Again, goes well with the white chutney.<br/ <br/ Meals: The meals here are humongous. One person can never finish these meals by herself/himself. A part of this can be attributed also to the taste of the food. It is very ordinary. It has more of a Telangana flavour to it rather than Andhra flavour. You don't get that satisfying feeling you usually get after eating plate meals. <br/ <br/ Double ka meetha: Being a Hyderabadi, I can never resist a Double ka meetha, even if it is at a breakfast place. It is a little too sweet and a tad bit oily. I like it better when it is cold. <br/ <br/ Ambience: 1/1.66 <br/ Service: 1.33/1.66<br/ Food: 1.33/1.66<br/ Extra 0.33 for the sweet old man at the counter :

A Udupi tiffin centre located in Bowenpally,<br/ Mostly busy in early hours,<br/ Had idli, vada and masala dosa ,<br/ Tastes ok.<br/ Chutney is ok but sambar is good <br/ They do have meal options and <br/ their juices are also ok.<br/ Double ka meeta is also worth a try.<br/ <br/ Overall ok.
I always take breakfast parcel from here. Good quality. <br/ <br/ Idli and dosa varieties are d best. <br/ <br/ Only once my family member mentioned that sambar is having different odour.<br/ <br/ I like set dosa here. <br/ Uttappam is also nicely cooked. <br/ <br/ Good place to have breakfast.
Vada Sambar, Paneer Dosa and MLA Pesarattu are the specialities of this place.. <br/ <br/ Puri kurma is another hot selling favorite.. <br/ An almost everyday adda.. I can ensure that the ambience might not be as good as the taste .. but highly reasonable prices for the food. <br/ <br/ After a nice sumptuous breakfast u can also try the tea here. not tasted.. but heard from my Father that its quite refreshing . <br/ <br/ Happy Eating!
