Metro Diner - Huntsville

The food is good quality and cooked right. I took off a star because today I paid $1.50 extra for strawberries and strawberry butter and laughed at the amount of strawberries that was actually put on my son’s waffle and no strawberry butter was given at all. I’d just appreciate getting what I ordered and my money’s worth.

Had such a wonderful breakfast here with my family! The food was absolutely delicious and our server was very friendly and great with giving out suggestions! The resturaunt was packed and our food came out in a very timely manor. It was also very clean and they were keeping up with covid standards. I can't wait to come back and try the roast beef!

I don’t know why we haven’t been here yet. Paul our waiter was top notch. The breakfast and mimosas=AMAZING! Chicken and waffles literally the best! Mimosas are cheap and strong! Perfect combination. I’d choose Metro over Another broken egg ANYDAY! The sweet and spicy sauce is good with everything! Overall an amazing experience! Can’t wait to bring our family.

Took a family girls trip to Huntsville and decided to have brunch here before leaving. It was nothing short of amazing. The service and food was awesome. Chicken and waffles are the way to go!!! Paired with the spicy syrup

Excellent food, everything is made from scratch in house daily and it really shows in the quality of the food. I've tried about half of their menu at this point and have been happy with every single thing. The chicken and waffles is out of this world, the sauce it comes with is really unique, a mix of syrup, butter, and strawberry preserve if I had to guess. It is also the only place in town that I have found that serves a really good biscuits and sausage gravy, with enormous buttermilk biscuits and lots of sausage in the gravy. Portions are very generous and the price reflects this (typically $10-16 a plate not including drink, tax, tip). Well worth it in my opinion. Worth driving all the way across town for on a fairly regular basis. Wait staff is very friendly and polite, the restaurant is kept very clean, and has a pretty neutral, muted diner from the 80's aesthetic. Highly recommend.
