Sandford House - Huntingdonshire

Magical experience at Magic restaurant and a big thank you to Dan. Had a wonderful evening with nothing but compliments for the staff. When I accidentally left my phone on the table, they safely kept it behind the bar until I returned to collect it.

I dined with a disabled friend who uses a mobility scooter and crutches for walking. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we headed towards the left side of the bar where the lager taps are located. Unfortunately, we were rudely told to move as we would not be served there. The tall male (possibly the manager) was extremely impolite, obnoxious, and showed no compassion towards my disabled friend. It was clear that the staff at this restaurant have no regard for disabled individuals. I would strongly advise avoiding this place if you have a disability, or if you simply do not want to support a establishment that discriminates against people with disabilities without justification.

The service from the team leader, Dan, at this restaurant is terrible. There is no customer service, he is consistently agitated, and he treats the staff poorly. I ordered a beer on the app, and he slammed it down and walked away in a bad mood. I have only been here three times, but I will never return because of him. He makes me feel uncomfortable, and he needs to be replaced.

This is a beautiful building and the outside area has a separate no smoking section which was ideal for us. The service was SUPERB. We had one particular waiter who was excellent and did magic tricks to cheer up our grumpy toddler! He really went the extra mile and made a huge difference. All the staff were very friendly, polite and conscientious. We were impressed. The food was excellent and it’s incredible value for money. We recommend!

Stopped in probably the nicest Weatherspoon's I've ever been in. The food and drink were (for the money) excellent and the ambience and decor equally as good. All in all for a very cost effective enjoyable time I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit. It's a great pity that the 2 Weatherspoon's here on the Island are poor comparisons.
