China River Humble

Very nice and clean business. I and my colleague came here for lunch. But it wasn't full, there were probably 5-7 customers. I ordered beef with garlic sauce and my colleague ordered Mongolian triple pleasure. Both came with a soup. I have an egg drop soup and she got a thick tone soup. Right after we made our order, the waitress brought us the soup. And about 5 minutes later, food was served. It was very delicious. The beef was tender and the garlic sauce was tasteful. I think this restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Humble area. This place is certainly our place whenever we want Chinese food. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

China River always delivers. The food is always hot and seasoned to taste. This is only my 3rd time here and it has now become my favorite spot. Keep up the great work!!!

Awesome taste and the portions are huge. Wow. I am amazed. I would definitely go again. These are lunch portions. I had about 3 pieces of chicken and a few spoons of rice. Both come with egg roll and soup too. Definitely recommend. The low price is hard to beat. Like $7-$8 per meal. Wow.

First time here this place doesn't look like much on the outside, but I was thoroughly impressed by the food! Not only was it good, the options on the menu were great. Decent prices, clean facility, and friendly attentive staff. I got the lemon chicken and didn't expect the chicken to be pan fried panko with lemon sauce. Normally it's batter fried chicken. Large portions, so I had some to take home. Can't wait to try another item on their menu.

China River brought back nostalgic memories for my husband and me, reminiscent of the Chinese restaurant we visited nearly 30 years ago during our college days, complete with paper Zodiac table covers. We ordered a couple of different lunch specialties: I had shrimp with vegetables, steamed rice, and hot soup, while he opted for sesame chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. We both requested our dishes to be made spicy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the generous portions. We also ordered some egg rolls.
