Cold Stone Creamery - Howard Beach

The food was fantastic and the staff was so friendly. The flavors were superb.

The customer service at this restaurant was very poor, especially with a worker named Thowha. He was constantly on his phone and even ignored customers to watch a YouTube video. When I asked for my ice, he was very rude to me. I give this store a zero rating due to the bad service and the melted ice creams.

Our order included two items with cake batter ice cream, but when we received our order and went outside to eat, we discovered that both were actually vanilla. We went back to the person who served us and he apologized and made us two new ones. By the time we went back for the second time, the store was closing. We tried the new ones, but they were still vanilla. Other customers in line before us informed us that the person who served them also claimed the ice cream was cake batter flavor.

The staff is very nice, but it is not a coincidence that my last two visits, which were 6 months away from each other, they offered me to sell molten ice, after which workers even the toppings were melted today. it is very hot in there, no condition that their employees work, and the least of their problems there is not a table or chair to enjoy their ice. I will not visit this place again, and I suggest that they go elsewhere. they will be disappointed.

3 because they are a little messy. And this is a food place and it's important to me. If you can't pass a little Christina inspection how are you gonna pass a health inspection?? And it was 5 stars until me got in the car to go home. Here's what happened. I was next door replacing a fish and was so freaking excited to have cold stone. I haven't had it in years and the lil parking lot they have is clutch. Anyway it's very busy suddenly when we walk in and they were like 3 of 4 employees working hard. One takes my order I was recording it having fun. I got a classic peanut butter something. And my son gets plain with only marshmallows. Again thrilled got extra whip whatever. When we get in the car my son says they don't know how to make plain. I was surprised to see that they spoon or the table they used to mix with was still covered in the icecream from last orders mixed into his vanilla. Had he had a peanut allergy we would have been finished. I am a food allergy sufferer and I was like what? They can't be making mistakes like that. And to top it off I think it happened bc they were very messy in the back. I can't eat here again for fear that I will get a food allergy. Crazy.
