Piatto - Houston

Nothing seems to stay the same these days. I was a patron of this restaurant for quite a few years before leaving Houston about 8 years ago. They had one of the best dishes in town back then. It was their artichoke with lump crab and a butter sauce. I amnow able to visit Houston often so I was anxious to go to their newest location and get that dish. It tasted nothing like itdid a few years ago. The crab had no flavor and was in small pieces, not the lump crab they served in the past. The sauce hadno flavor and the artichoke seemed not to be cooked the same. It was not a bad dish, just a dish I would not order again if Iwere ever to return. What I have learned is that over the years the restaurants have multiplied ten fold and the quality of thefood has declined fifteen fold, making it much more difficult to find a great restaurant.

Very impressed! I have reserved 36 people who will be in town for the 2022 houston marathon. piatto ristorante was so professional and accommodating. they asked us to confirm our reservation and after the conversation with eric we could make some changes to the existing reservation. they put us in a separate room so that our group could be together. our eating was amazing and the waiting staff was very attentive! Normally if they were a large group together to dinner someone complaining about eating or service. not here. All said it was the best they had. Many thanks for making this a great experience!

If you love authentic Italian cuisine you will love this place. The entire experience from arriving to leaving was awesome. We had an office gathering here and our waiters was so attentive. The food was amazing. We had asparagus topped with crab as an appetizer, Pork Chops, Pollo Janice, Butter Cake, and Lemon Twist Cheesecake. The owners even stopped by our table to say hello. Awesome.

Terrible food, order was wrong everything tasted microwaved.
