Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived early Saturday evening, so it wasn’t too busy. We dine here regularly, but found that recently quality has dropped while prices rose. The food is good, but not as good as it used to be. We’d like to see them stick to the Brazilian way, like using proper mushrooms and batata palha with stroganoff. And skip the industrial premade desserts. Those brigadero are old and hard. Traditional flan, profiteroles, Romeo and Juliette, and maracuja are all missing from the menu.
We have to pay attention on the bill. They include 18% tip (they call “gratuity” on the bill and ask for “additional tip”. This is exactly the same practice done in Brazil. We end up paying the tip twice. We just realized it at home. I really don’t think it’s fair. Another point is the size of the dish. They say the dish would be enough for two people, but it isn’t. We had to ask something else and wait a while to be served.
Pay attention to details on the bill. 18% already included. Additional tip requested, so that we ended up paying it twice. Dishes supposed to serve 2 are pretty small. We were really disappointed. Food quality questionable as well.
Overall mediocre quality of ingredients, preparation, furniture, and service. They’re friendly enough, the bread is pretty good, and my mother enjoyed her caipirinha; but, for the same money, you could do much better someplace else…
I would love to give this place a good review, unfortunately they are illegally charging sales taxes on the non-prepared food items they sell on their store (not at the restaurant side). This needs to be corrected.
