Brenner's Steakhouse On The Bayou

This was our favorite steakhouse we've visited in the Houston area thus far. Unique atmosphere with great food!

Incredible dining experience. Expensive, but incredible. As long as you know what you’re getting yourself into before you go, it’s a great meal. The steak was particularly juicy and flavorful. One of the best I’ve had in a restaurant though my husband is catching up with the steaks at home! Spent 365+ for the following: We had the: Old fashioned Blackberry Gin Fizz Dozen oysters American Wagyu Ribeye Herb Parmesan Fries Caramelized Brussels Sprouts Apple Streudel Birthday Brownie

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We’ve been here once before a year ago and are elated to say the service and food is consistent. Our server Justin was amazing! Very personable, welcoming and had great recommendations. The ambiance is beautiful and I would definitely recommend.

The food and the ambiance was excellent. The restaurant loses a star because of minor details that was overlooked. When I made the reservation, it asked if it was for a special occasion and I typed that it was for a birthday. When I arrived at the restaurant, they asked again what was the occasion and I told them a birthday. So that was the first detail that was missed. Other restaurants within the same class offered a free dessert, decorated the table, had a card and gave a complimentary glass of champagne for birthdays. Brenner's did none of that. I had to ask the waiter two times to bring me a glass of coke. Also he asked if I wanted a refill and never brought it to me. Aside from missing the birthday and the Coke, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food is excellent. The service needs a little fine tuning.

Elegant dining at it's best! We celebrated 46 years of marriage and were treated very well with great food, wine and service. It was a good choice for a special evening.
