Bidrage med feedbackMy man and I visited the gas house after our high season in the mai or juni 2020 and had a wonderful stay. we wanted to visit again in the coming juni, but no one called me back to the booking. I called sara who only owns the garden house and she informed me that this was going out of business. my man and I first paid 2000 plus to have our high time there, but due to covid a gift certificate was issued. at this time I spent several days to track someone who can help me. like others I have never been notified that the business has closed, even having money tied to the site! by email chains with previous workers I finally came over karens names. I have a message to her and who knows what will happen. I'm considering going over this mess in court. that's the worst thing I've ever seen in my life!
It was an amazing experience. the anwesen is unique not only in hot springs, but perhaps throughout the north carolina. the garden is beautiful and if they stay in the middle of it, they will see the mountains around them. they can have a quiet and soothing afternoon on the hammocks or relax on the swing. they have great pleasures. a very large new tw, a google home connected with apple music, coffee machine, mini fridge, microwave and more. highly recommended.
The magnolia inn, embedded in the mountains, magnificent and well-maintained, gave my whole family a feeling of peace and reminded us of this beauty. we were in the garden house and my children played in the grass, rest in the hammock and climbed the massive walnut tree. both my man and me and our children enjoyed the ease of the personal, attentive, but not overlaid and the ease of the beautiful terrain. we have been plucked from the crimson garden right in front of our door and snapped down the river, just a few steps from the inside. after the departure we all went back. really a magical home and we felt so welcome.
We stayed in the Garden House for a family wedding in the area of Hot Springs. It was a nice home and suited our combo of family for the 2 nights we stayed. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We didn't cook much but the kitchen accessories could use some help could of used a pizza pan for the frozen pizza we found in town and I searched and searched for wine opener only to find a super cheap one the pull the cork kind which did finally work but then of course I found the 'real' wine opener. All good in the end should of bought twist off! lol Hot Springs is a sweet little town but do some grocery shopping before you arrive choices are pretty limited as with eateries too.
Great experience! The Inn and grounds are beautiful, service was great and we enjoyed breakfast on the porch each morning. It was nice to just walk to downtown and to the Hot Springs Resort. We are looking forward to a return visit. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful old Victorian house this is your place.
