After driving from france we only wanted to eat and go. have not understood anything on the menu, but between the owner of the dame and google we have translated pork with chips and seasonal vegetables, it was very tasty and fresh. Many workers came...after for eating them occupied and when we were the only other customers we left, so we paid and went.

Hospental is a very small town or even a village somewhere on sepentine leading through St's. Gotard. The main traffic passes these wonderful places through a long tunnel connecting the Italian and German parts of Switzerland. But sometimes it's interesting to sing through the paths that thousands of years of travellers with life-threatening risk have crossed through St. Gotard's. Even in the car now, this road may be a real adventure for you, it depends on the weather. Winter is often closed or allowed to go there only with wheel chains. We went south to the north to a strong fog when the nearest cows were only heard on their neck bells. The dark steamers of the old share suddenly looked out of the fog. So getting to Hospental and stopping to rest in this cozy restaurant was really happy. Let the humble interior of the institution not embarrass you. But here's the real thing - the locals are looking here for a chat, a snack and skipping a cup. So having dinner here is the opportunity to experience a real, unsuccessful life of the inhabitants of mountain Switzerland, whose rhythm of life seems to have not changed much over time. I advise you to order a meal from a local dic. We've tried deer and baton with forest berries and grass, and we're very happy.

We were pampered out with very good food and a very friendly service. the melone with raw ham was really very fine. also the salad: fresh and beautiful presented. as you like it. we are happy to come back!
