El Jefe Mexican - Hope

I thought 2/3 reviews saying this place was safe would be enough but I too sat and watched my family eat because I didn’t feel safe enough to try it. They didn’t know anything about allergies even though they have a sign saying to let them know. Don’t risk it, go somewhere else.

I have been here multiple times and never have gotten sick! I usually get an aroz con pollo and have chips and cheese

Not sure where Vespa got her information. This place is NOT gluten free friendly. They have no idea what Gluten is. Talked to Manager. They brought package of corn tortillas out to me and were not certified GF although ingredients looked safe. Fry chips in same oil as flour products. I'm sitting here drinking water while family is crunching away. Will not risk being sick 3 days for a taco.

Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Almost all gluten free except flour tortillas and enchilada sauce. Carnitas tacos are the best.

Great bar food, good selection of beers, friendly staff.
