Thai Issan Cuisine Waikiki - Honolulu

Great new Thai restaurant! Friendly staff who were knowledgeable about gluten allergies! The server was immediately prepared to work with me to determine what I could order. I had the pineapple red curry and it was one of the most flavorful, thick Thai curries I've ever had! The jasmine brown rice was a nice break from all of the white rice around Waikiki. Definitely worth a stop in!Dietary restrictions: Prepared to modify orders to accommodate allergies

They don’t have alcohol license yet so I was advised I can bring my own beer. The host guy sat me at the table and brought a very small glass for my beer. I asked him if he got a bigger glass he said NO. I ordered the food and a nice lady brought me my food and a big glass with Ice water. I asked her if she can bring me a big glass for my beer and here we go she brought a large enough glass. When I mentioned that to the host guy he was just like “Oh you got a large glass” telling it to me with a fake smile and smirk on his face. Looks like people from the mainland are very lazy or just liars.I ordered their “special” red curry. The curry tasted weird with a hint of smoked motor oil. I couldn’t finish it and left.

August visit. Huge menu, so while there is something for everyone, it takes a while to choose. Can’t go past spring rolls. A little heavy on the onions in each dish but great flavours and good service.

Food was incredible. They only had two people working the floor but the hostess filled in for the waitress and did amazing. Saved our experience and would highly recommend. Owners give the hostess a huge raise

We order 3 dishes which should be vegetarian with no onion and no garlic, and they serve us fantastic taste. ???Vegetarian options: We ordered vegetarian option with no garlic and no onion. the taste is fantastic ?
