Egghead Cafe Honolulu

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but there were some issues with timing. Our dishes were brought out at different times, leading to my daughter only receiving her pancake after the rest of us had finished eating. It seemed like they may be serving food as it's ready, possibly due to COVID restrictions, which was a bit strange. The specialty pancakes were nothing special and could benefit from having their sauces warmed up or served at room temperature. It was disappointing to have cold pancakes due to the cold syrup being poured on top and left to sit. On a positive note, my older daughter did enjoy the acai bowl.

The new restaurant location offers plenty of free parking and features all of the popular menu items. We shared the delicious Hawaiian pancake with haupia sauce, which was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The strawberry shortcake pancakes had a nice tartness to offset the sweetness. The tiramisu pancakes were a bit sweeter, but still tasty. We also enjoyed the flavorful omelettes, including the popeye and crab varieties, which were both satisfying. The mixed greens salad dressing that comes with the omelettes was a favorite. We are thrilled that the new location has opened and will definitely be returning. The staff is friendly and it's a wonderful spot for a laid-back brunch experience!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The service may be a bit slow, but it's because they are also offering takeout.

Our food was good. our food came out at different times, and therefore my daughter did not get her a pancake until we were all finished with our food. I am not sure if they send out food as it is finished, instead of food for all the table because of the COVID situation, but I found it strange. the special pancakes are nothing special. they must heat their sauces or make the sauce room temperature. they make the pancakes, pour cold syrup/ sauce on it, and it sits until the server arrives and until the time they get it, they have cold pancakes. my older daughter liked the acaicale.

Great service and food. The tiramisu pancake was delicious.
