Fiesta On Main - Honesdale

This is my favorite restaurant in Honesdale and always the spot I suggest when I 'm in the area and friends want to meet for lunch. The waiters/waitresses are always friendly, the portions generous and always a bargain. The dining room is bright and colorful, though it 's a real treat to get to eat on the terrace. If you 're spoiled by West Coast Mexican food, you 're not going to be happy here, though, to be honest, it 's going to be very hard to find authentic Mexican food anywhere this East. However, if you 're more familiar with other area restaurants, you can see that Fiesta On Main really has a lot to offer and is hitting a lot of right notes.

Back from Mexico a couple of months ago where we had the real thing. The food here is as authentic as you'd get on Fifth Avenue in Playa Del Carmen. The complimentary salsa is fresh and addictive. Real Queso, too. Been here many times and will keep coming back. Never have had a bad meal here. Tacos, taquitos, enchiladas, mole, regardless of what meat is very good. Is BYOB, but they will make nonalcoholic margaritas and then you can add the tequila. Highly recommended.
