Godfather's Pizza - Homewood

I've never had Godfather's pizza ? before, until week or two ago, a co worker told me we were having pizza today for staff and the workers laying the carpet, I said ok where from, for how many and do I need to contribute, she said Godfathers pizza, 14 people and if I'd like to, and that the pizza is delicious, that's how Godfather's pizza was discovered by me!!And she was right!!!!?She ordered, 3-4 various pizzas including a veggie with garlic parmesan, cheese bread and buttery like rolls!!! Everything was delicious!!!!So I Stopped by there for the first time, last Saturday around noon with a couple people I think told about it to dine in, to my surprise the dining room was closed!!!!!!! Even outdoor seating!!!This is temporary, dining room open on a few weekdays, not sure which ones, but you can go inside to order, phone in or drive thru!!I had a small veggie, similar to personal pan pizza 6 spices) no black olives, garlic parmesan instead of marinara,it was delicious!!!!Look out Pizza ? First time eating at this pizza place. We ordered carry out. Ordered the Super Taco pizza, an all meat pizza, cheese sticks, and garlic parmesean wings. The taco pizza was interesting. It had all the toppings of a Supreme taco with olives, lettuce, meat, and cheese. They gave us sides of sour cream and taco sauce. Overall this pizza was dry. You had to almost drown it in sauce for it not to be so thick going down. The all meat pizza was ok . The cheese sticks didn 't have enough cheese on them for you to taste the cheese. It was a lot of bread. Matter of fact that 's all I can say about this pizza restaurant.... it 's a whole lot of tasteless dough! The best thing that we had tonight were the garlic parmesean wings. The wings were GREAT! Everything else... meh. I signed up for the loyalty program, but I seriously doubt I 'll be returning.

This ain’t the same place I went as a kid on Friday night before the wrestling show or movies,however the pizza is still the best.Because of lack of staffing dine in is only open til 2:30 and you get your own drink but the food is affordable and the cheese is the best I have had,same for the Italian sausage,peppers and mushrooms.I like the deluxe or meat lovers.Staff is courteous,place is clean and breadsticks are awesome as well as the cheese sticks.The Parmesan is great too.Definitely this place earns the hogh rating.

Small place but definitely an old familiar . Get the original crust, when you receive it, it looks exactly like the menu pics. Rare these daysFood: 5/5
