Tobie's Bakery - Hinckley

Delicious doughnuts! Great stop when traveling through Hinckley. Highly recommend! Parking: Huge parking lot. Can easily fit RVs more. Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the kids.

From the get go terrible experience. Walked in, the greeter was not at her podium. When she came back 10 mins later, she said let me wall around and see what 's open. Finally, we got seated, and the waitress was running around with her head cut off. Yes, it was lunch and busy, but holy cow. When we got our food, which did come out fast (which was the only good part), brisket burger, grilled cheese, and chicken stripes. The burger was smashed and soggy, with little to no brisket. The chicken stripes were the cheap food club type chicken stripes. The fries that came with the meals were not that great but ok. The grilled cheese was a soggy cheesy mess. The bill came to 55$ for sub-par food with sub-par service. I was so disappointed because I 've always heard that Tobie 's was great with good food, but that was not my experience.

Way over priced, everything tastes artifical and like something you'd get from a groccery store. Chicken strips -100000000/10 would never recommend. You can go to McDonalds for better food. And 3$ extra plate fee if you wanna share entrees and sides? Yikes!

Don’t eat here. It’s gross. Biscuits and gravy straight up looked and tasted like an A.I tried to recreate them long after humanity had succumbed to the cold death of space.

If you are looking for standard Midwest food with little flavor, but served at a reasonable price, Tobbies is the place for you! I would eat here again but it doesn't live up to it's reputation.
