Bidrage med feedback- that's a good staff. we had coffee and sweets, but next time we'll get back to breakfast. great gift shop inside. elevenresco is located in front of and behind the caffe when the weather is friendly. no problem to get a park recommended.
The desire for darri will expect some fine food in the free range, but was greeted with disappointment. / the waiting staff was friendly, but the foods they brought on the table were not on standard. / the American blue berry hot cakes were a) lacking the whipped cream on the menu and b) raw oil was a big bntolbsay. the toast was the size of a small coaster. Finally, it was simply not large enough for a large breakfast./ the tomatoes and bores were delicious./ everything in all can come back for the small sweets in the cabinet, but for nothing else. Dara’will’ they please get their game!?
We visited Anzac day 2022. The queue was long due to the added demand, as the neighbouring coffee shop was closed. We ate in with coffee and a cake. The coffee cups even the large size are incredibly small, they are clearly provided by the coffee supplier Julius Meini. I didn't have a issue with the long wait, I didn't have an issue with temp of the coffee, my issue isn't with the service at Darriwill Farm. Not as polished as it could be but survivable. The issue is the coffee, hardly any flavour, and stupidly small servings in the Julius Meini cups. I would have expect an espresso in the cup used not a cappuccino. Please get normal cups/mugs and better coffee. Geelong has some good local roasted Coffee unfortunately you don't and you don't use good local roasted Coffee. I sit at Gustos most weekends wondering why 63 Degrees is busy, why Gustos is busy and why Darriwill isn't as busy. Maybe its the coffee. Gosh even Bon Appetit is busy and I am not found of them either.
It was a lovely day and we did enjoy our visit. We ordered and 20 minutes later the waiter brought out the wrong dishes . We both ordered pasta dishes and out came fish dishes . There were only 2 other tables occupied and all were already eating their mains so not sure how you could mess that up. It didn't bother us as they did bring out the pasta dishes 15 minutes later. We did have to remind them about the water we requested when first sat down. Unfortunately I didn't discover until after we'd left that we were charged for the fish dishes which were slightly more expensive. It was only slightly higher but still annoying. I would still recommend trying the place as the food was good and appetising.
Lovely breakfast with VERY nice hot chocolate. I had a tasting plate of a fritter and poached egg, bacon and maple syrup and Bircher muesli with fresh berries Good and pleasant service
