Finnholmen Brygge - Henningsvaer

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location! the hotel finnholme brygge is located in the beautiful location henningswær and offers a beautiful view of the nearby mountain chain or the harbour. there is a small part that is the latent fishing, but hey, it is a fishing village, there is a huge fish storage right next to the hotel and we wanted authenticity so I only mention it for completeness. the hotel was a factory building and was reused as a hotel. the cranes to unload the ships are still there and look as if they are still used. the building itself has the vintage structures still visible, but looks in fantastic shape with few cosmetic adjustments, but in the round only renovated. the floor in our room was for example slightly tilted, but so is the building. the bathrooms are small but clean and offer everything they can ask from a simple bathroom room. the shower curtain tries to sneak on them while a firm glass door or cabin would have been beautiful. I would like to address this particularly, because we were very sceptical and very wrong at first! the hotel offers a solid floor buffet next to the breakfast dinner and while the breakfast menu was a solid home buffet, the dinner menu surprised us! we chose pizza and were served with a solid handmade, pizza, tasty and crisp. we did not try out the other dishes, as we only spent one night in henningswær, but from what we saw, they came nothing short of our dinner! also: excellent choice of music in the dining room!

Beautiful room and very friendly staff. great choice to breakfast, dinner we eat the smoked whale that was incredibly teasing!

Beautiful rooms, although there are not many clothes hangers. in the summer months towels hardly dry moistening. eating is excellent, even the breakfast is very good!

Nice place to stay at. Simple, clean and quiet.
