Bidrage med feedbackWe had 13 in our group on a Saturday night, and we sat in the sunroom. It appears that most large groups sit in this area. It was extremely hot in this room. I am typically cold, and even I was hot. It wasn't easy to have conversations with anyone at our table because of the noise level in this small space. The food was good. The fries have a bit of spice to them if you like spicy fries. The biscuits brought to the table have a dusting of this sugar, and they provide apple butter to add to the biscuit. Delicious. A few of the meals that we had were the brisket, pulled pork sandwich, and jambalaya. There are three sauces to choose from, one of which was not sweet. I prefer sweet sauce and got a side of honey to add to the original sauce; it was delicious. The waitress was excellent, and the restaurant was clean.
WELP Best southern food in the state of Nevada. We enjoyed it all from the food, the drinks, the service and even the customers. We loved the place from top to bottom. Reminded us of back home (AR) as we took bites and enjoyed the evening. We just couldn't get enough of the ambiance. The drinks were well crafted as well so we enjoyed well with our dinner. We will be back for the rest of the menu. Thank y'all for that experience
I visited Lucille's on a Saturday night as a last minute dinner option. I made a reservation for 9:15pm. We arrived about 15 minutes early, but only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited for more than 10 minutes to have our drink orders taken by Xavier. He was nice and well mannered. Once we got our drinks Sam came over and introduced herself as our waitresses. I had the full rack of babay backs with brussel spouts and loaded mashed potatoes as the sides. My GF had the shrimp and grits and we shared a full onion strings. The food was excellent! The service not so much. Sam took forever to check on us after we finished eating and seemed annoyed that we needed a third box. Also she didn't offer a to go cup for my strawberry lemonade or ask if we wanted containers to take sauce( both of which they always do). She didn't even bring us a bag for the three boxes. We had to ask for one on the way out. The other problem that i had was that several workers pasted us as we were waiting to be greated gor drink orders and after we had finished and no one acknowledged us even though it wasn't busy. I love Lucille's so Im sure ill be back, but maybe ill go to the Charleston location or at least go earlier and hopefully get better service.
I?m giving this place a second try. Let me first say that sweet tea is just not sweet. I have also Lesteen?s to ask the server if they actually drink sweet tea or not because that definitely changes whether I listen to their opinion or not. We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer. Let me start by saying the lack of seasoning left a lot to be desired so I would give it a 2.5 AT BEST. I definitely wouldn?t order it again. This time I went a different avenue and ordered shrimp and grits and the gumbo (what am I thinking ordering these items at a bbq joint! ????????? . The main entrees were all really good. The gumbo can be shared by 2 people, as I had a lot left over. The service was a bit slow today. They weren?t packed but maybe short staffed.
If you are in the Green Valley Area near the Casino head down to the Lucilles. The food was piping hot which means fresh in my book. The chicken sandwich is way Better than Huston Chicken if you like them. And the gumbo was enough for two people! Just delicious! This will be one our new local spots to have our southern fix on the weekends.
