Bidrage med feedbackI decided to try out this restaurant. Despite this review, we decided to give it a shot.
Oh! I thought I had written a review for this lovely restaurant when there was still snow on the ground. I was delighted when I first stumbled upon this hidden gem.
I was very grateful and pleasantly surprised to discover this fantastic restaurant amidst the otherwise unimpressive streets of Rue St. Hubert. The area can be dreary in some blocks, but this gem of a place was a welcome find.
On y fait à chaque année et on a jamais été déçu. On passe toujours une excellente journée et les repas sont très bon, (déjeuner et souper, on n a jamais essayé le diner).
I would have never been born.We were 6. 4 had lasagna, 2 had chicken. All the food was tepid. We discussed the soup. The consensus was that it was cream of chicken. Dissident opinion was that it was creamy vegetable. The only sure thing is that it started the day as a powder to which water was added. The salad was green. Covered by the Kraft dressing of the day.The lasagna was bizarre, to say the least. It was of the frozen variety and lacked cheese. It was served with a side of roasted potatoes and slightly cooked green and yellow beans. In my 68 years on this planet, this was the worst ever. I am Italian, and if my Nonna had served this to my grampa......The chicken was extremely strange. The two chicken pieces were cooked so evenly, they looked like the perfect pictures you see on adverts. They had nearly real grill marks on them. Bland, no spices of any kind. Served with a weak orange sauce. If it looks like a duck, it must be chicken. The sides were the same as the lasagna. Frozen veggies, for sure. Both of us ate one slice and abandoned the rest.Dessert was chocolate cake, baked in a faraway place. Bland, tasteless...Coffee was dark and warm. Service took 2 1/2 hours. The decor is mid-sixties, in need of a refurbishing.
