Big Nips Bbq - Hazlehurst

The BBQ sampler plate I had was delicious. A juicy thigh, great ribs and the BBQ was good, but a little dry. I prefer juicier pork. The coleslaw was bold being a dill based sauce with a strong flavor of black pepper. Though I like my slaw sweet, I'll definitely eat this one again. My two main concerns were the very generic beans and bbq sauce. The beans tasted like pork n beans straight from the can and the sauce was possibly Heinze or Sweet Baby Rays.We also got the stuffed potato. Again, pork a little dry. We were provided butter, sour cream, BBQ sauce. Needed bacon bits and ranch dressing of course...I personally would like to have seen a large portion of great meat and the other items optional.Overall, I liked the minimal smoke that usually tastes fake and over powering. This meat tasted more like what I cook at home. Once they work out the beans and their sauce, they'll be a powerhouse! 9 of 10, would recommend
