Great food! from mexiko to eastern kentucky! that is what the first page of their menu says. I've never been to mexico, so I don't know how true this is! but what I can say is that her food was brilliant. I ordered a chimichanga filled with chicken tips, it came with rice, bor and an salate. it was one of the best chimichanga I had. their portions are also really huge, it will even satisfy the greatest appetit. the service was great! we were in a group of twenty and they had our orders in less than ten minutes! this place has a relaxed atmosphere and you can relax and enjoy your meal. Mex i can. I'm not one for Mexican cuisine, but this restaurant had the fastest service and friendly waiters I've experienced yet. I had a taco salad, which came with good quality hugging, drilling, iceberg salat, cheese and a tomato. it was not the best, but was good for the price and of course there were unlimited chips and salsa! I would come back.

Really grande. Well, Mexican food is one of my favorite kind of food. Going to the El Azul Grande was a great decision. I went there along with 20 other people. The building is very decent, it is nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly. The menu is very diversified and they offer some really interesting combinations such as shrimp chimichamgas. I got a chicken chimichanga. I could not finish it because the plate was large. I think that every single person in our group liked the food and the atmosphere, so it is a place to go to. Oh, and most importantly, the smoking and non smoking areas are separated unlike some other restaurants I have been to in Hazard KY.

El Azul Grande III. Well, at first, I would say the service is like rocket speed. We as 20 students plus a Professor, Dr. Hacebert, ordered like 21 meals and within rocket speed, the food is already coming out, hot and good smell lingering in the air. I ordered Shrimp and Steak Fajita. The size of the food is really huge for even me as a big eater. The shrimp is fresh which further triggers my olfactory lobe. The steak is so soft and tender with actually organic flavor inside. It also came with red rice, cabbage with Avocado and red beans. Yum!. Although this place is the only Mexican restaurant I've visited in Hazard, I'm pretty sure it's the best. The atmosphere is great, with lots of the warm colors Mexico is known for. There is even a bar, which isn't all that common for counties in Kentucky. Even though I attended with a group of twenty one, the service was phenomenal. Our drinks always stayed pretty full and they took our orders and had everyone's food out in no time! I ordered the fajita nachos with beef and they were amazing! The only complaint I heard from our entire table was that they couldn't finish all their food. It was an excellent experience and I can't wait to go again.
