Palace Hotel Sydney - Haymarket

This is a rustic pub, where the hand of the time has stopped moving somewhere before similar places were hit all with light wood and stainless steel rod, in wrong attempt to produce. there is a huge selection of solid pub duve, but I always land on the $15 carving with chips and salat. can't beat it. succulent chicken breast, boiled for tender perfection and rested aloft crispy pommes and freshly dressed salate. there are some sauces on offer, but, a simple man with simple joys, I take the gravy option. the whole experience was intercepted with icy cold beer and a big smile of the friendly bar staff.

Great food and great choices. there were time jumps and not even a bad eating. they even take lol thank you.

The salat worst I have ever seen mixed rotten salat leaves, gott bless that you could live after eating. Worse than the quality of the taste, the attitude of the workers and manager there, they do not accept any complaining if they do not like the unfresh. food they put on their table, it is their fault and it is your taste error. in any case, do not expect to replace court or refund, or excuse them from them. from the second when they entered the pub, they deserve what they would get. bless you.

A beautiful place. terrible place in history. very rude staff. security and bar people just want to go home

This Aussie Pub features a full service bar and a Bistro. There is ample seating in both areas. We ordered the steak special, the lamb cutlets, and the chicken parm. The steak and the chicken were excellent, moist and full of flavor. The mushroom sauce...on the steak and the cheese on the parm were wonderful. The lamb cutlets were also wonderful. At $23, we thought those a bit dear until we saw the plate stacked high with three huge cutlets cooked just right on a bed of mash. The food was excellent and the service was good definitely recommend!!
