Jersey Mike's Subs - Haymarket

A nice change. Kinda of friendly staff. Like one guy was really friendly and the others, not so much. Decent menu. My chicken philly wrap was all that pretty but tasted alright. I may go back, but will think twice.

This was not a good sub and I ordered the large one to share. Old onions, meat trimmed at the end of the roll. One price posted on the menu and I was charged more. Server took over for a guy that helped the next one in line (only one after me) and the employee that put the condiments on was working at the cash register. She didn’t change gloves. I usually like this place, but after eating a little, we threw the sandwich out. Very disappointed.

They usually do a great job of loading up, but when I went early in the evening to pick up an online order, I was disappointed. My bag was the only one on the pick-up counter, empty. The floor behind the counter was a mess that anyone could see. Despite there being only one customer in line, I had to wait longer than expected. When I finally received my order, it was extremely hard. The evening crew could definitely improve.

I visited on 4/2 and found the restaurant to be dirty, with food scattered on the floor. The meat slicer was also dirty, contaminating my sandwich with pieces of other meats. The counters were covered in crumbs and food debris. The workers even placed my food on a dirty table. This was the worst experience I've had in a Jersey deli. I used to enjoy coming here because it was clean, but I will not be returning.
