Mariella's Pizzeria - Haverstraw

We were visiting family in the area and stop here for pizza since we were staying nearby and wanted something close. What we walked in to was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was decorated in 'old school ' Italian restaurant decor and it was beautiful. The service was unbelievable. One of the owners greeted us, described all the delicious items on the menu and made us feel very welcome. Our waiter (I think his name was Johnny) was amazing. He was very attentive and helpful going over the food choices as well. We decided to get a regular pizza and we are glad we did. Living in NC we don 't get good NY style pizza. This pie was amazing!! The price was maybe a little higher than most but you can get a pizza from their pizzeria next door to the restaurant for a better price. I can 't wait to go back again when we are in the area.

We have eaten here many times and are never disappointed! Delicious Italian specialties and appetizers try the Arencini you will feel like your are in Sicily! Home made Canollis and good service!

The only drawback is they're a bit on the pricy side. So definitely not a place i would make regular trips to. But i do love their food.

Been many times.. Was a good restaurant at one time.. Not any more.. Prices to high for a pizza place.. .

Visited as doing a bicycle ride through New York. We were tired and hungry from the ride that day and in our bike clothes, so we sat at the bar. The Bartender was very friendly, a great server, and a wealth of info about the area. Food was very good, and certainly plentiful, and prices were reasonable. Nice relaxing time; good beer, good food, and great service....just what we needed! Recommended!
