Kushoom Bugh - Havering

Every time I visit this restaurant I query why I go elsewhere! The standard is great, with each dish having its own unique flavour, unlike some restaurants where the flavours seem mildly different. We started with King Prawn butterfly, and ordered a Jhalfrezi, Dhansak, lemon rice, chilli nan and sag aloo. Wonderful flavours from each dish and no sign of oil/ghee which gets a big thumbs up from me. The dips for the poppadoms is always worth a mention tamarind wins the day here! The service is always impeccable, making sure you experience a warm welcome and continuing to ensure your visit is great. The fact Kushoom Bugh has been in Upminster for decades, competing with many other Asian restaurants nearby, tells you its a favourite, and long may it continue!

Moved back into the area about a year ago, did not remember how good this restaurant is. Visited tonight and OMG, the best Indian food I’ve ever had I reckon, I went for the king prawn purée starter (vindaloo hot) it was wonderful, full of flavour and richness, The main course was a Chicken Tikka Patia, again vindaloo hot and it really was superb (I recommend)

I have been eating at this restaurant for many years...never ever been dissapointed. The food is always cooked to perfection and is delicious. Staff are extremely pleasant and curtious.. as is the lady serving at the bar. You will always enjoy this 5 star meal and restaurant.

Visited this as a family and was not disappointed. Great food and service. Really liked all our dishes and will definitely be going back. One of the best restaurants in Upminster
