Phoenician - Haverhill

My lamb was cooked nicely, my friend had the nativity and it melted in her mouth! I wasn't aware, but if they wanted the lobster, they must call and order! So they think about what they want to eat!

Food was great! We first got the salads., unfortunately they were out of Russian dressing but we went with the French Dressing instead. I was fine. Hubby got the Veal Chop with Rice Piliaf.. he said Veal Chop was cooked Perfect. I got the Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Fries.. perfectly cooked. Our Server was on point and very knowledgeable. Service was fast and perfect. We go to Pheonician every 3 weeks ..never disappointed!

We have eaten here many times before and the food has always been wonderful as well as the service. This time was a different experience. Granted it was a Sunday evening, rainy not busy but this time we had to wait for the hostess, wait for someone to clean a table (there were MANY tables scattered around left with dirty dishes, napkins etc which was not an unappealing sight) Our waitress was very pleasant but needed reminders that we can’t enjoy our pita bread without plates, utensils and napkins. The food was still delicious but it was served peace meal. We got the haddock but had to wait a bit for the sides etc. I understand that everyone is short staffed but the staff that is there needs some instruction and help as to how to do their jobs easily and efficiently. By the way, all those dirty tables were still dirty when we left….

Had a wonderful time. The meal was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

One of our lamb plates (lamb on stick) only three pieces were edible. The others had tendons running thru and couldn’t even cut thru them. Told the server,which was young and she said she was sorry. No attempt at compensation was made. I’m on the fence about going back. Sorry
