Bidrage med feedbackNice people excellent eating excellent prices. the Chinese tee is free. I ordered 1 bak kut teh, 4 dim sum basket, 1 thai war, all for only thb 185.
Not as many choice as the more popular ones but each one fresh and tasty. Only the Bak Kut Teh was a bit over seasoned. Not crowded so it is much more pleasant to eat here without rush.
Dim sum is different with what we have in malaysia. Good price, 7 types at 146 bahts with chinese tea served! All dim sum shops also serve bak kut teh.
Betong Dimsum taste also ok, but quite limited in choices of items, unlike other dimsum places in Hatyai. However the dimsum here are more alike Malaysian style dimsum, slightly larger in size and taste. Their paus are also quite similar to those you find in Malaysia as well as their lomaikai (which i would say the best in town i had so far). They also have the chee cheong fun which was quite nice too.
The selection is quite small, and they don't really have fried dimsum, but overall it tasted good and was reasonably priced! There are some pretty unique dishes like seaweed-wrapped meat and many others that I did not try. The place is not too crowded (unlike many other well-rated places), so that's a plus!
