We booked our regular family lunch/dinner reservation at this restaurant, and this time we were seated at what could be considered the best table in the restaurant. The service was good, our drink orders were taken and served promptly, and our food orders were taken efficiently. Everything was fantastic, especially the Roast Sirloin of beef. Surprisingly, we still had room for dessert, but the experience took a turn for the worse at this point. Two of us ordered the "Crumble of the Day" for £6.50 each, but what arrived was a very small apple tart with an excessive amount of custard in the jar. We mentioned to the waitress that we found the desserts to be very small in size and not worth the price, and asked her to relay our feedback to the kitchen or the manager. Unfortunately, it seemed our concerns were not passed on when the manager walked by our table to change a barrel. Despite the waitress claiming she had informed them when she brought the bill, no adjustment was made for the subpar desserts. We will likely return to this restaurant in the future as this experience was not typical, but we hope to avoid a repeat of this disappointment.

Only had a family dinner there with excellent service and amazing eating will always go my favorite place

I was looking for a lunch somewhere after I had visited the opposite to go shopping. this had great reviews on all platforms and was researched as a pub that was cooked at home. so glad I found it. we have been made to feel immediately welcome by the team and other customers. eating was brilliant, cooked at home, well presented and plentiful. I had the chili con carne, which was served on a bed of wild rice and came with a generous help from cheese and acidic cream and a lateral part of tortilla chips. I liked it wicy, but I'm a bit a spicy! the team was so friendly and his obvious that it is popular with people from the region.

Visited for the first time today. my son just went into the opposite. my elders said they traveled all the way from suffolk and had the best dinner of all time! I had the garnel jacket that was beautiful. great meal times and great service in a beautiful location. we're coming back!

Brilliant pub. big renter and lady and beautiful staff. eat super, Sunday as well as it gets. beautiful selection of drinks, great location and inside is beautiful. also nice masters and they have free snacks for their dog. top notch.
