I love Connie’s breakfast sandwiches and burrito’s plus they have the best chef salads in town!

What an amazing little bakery, where the staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I spied a little artwork on that wall with this so very true quote, meals memories are made here. A friend turned me on to this place, retelling me her first time in Connie 's original kitchen before we got to Hardwick at least 5 times before. I had to visit and CK delivered. This is my 3rd time here this week. Today, I had a delicious, roast beef, chedder, garlic avocado spread on oatmeal molasses toast dubbed the Green Donkey . the spread was nice and creamy and not to overwhelming with the garlic. Visitors may argue that the meal price might be a little high but when you factor in the homemade touch that it took to pull together such yumminess, you have to stop and say, it was well worth it. Absolutely perfect. This is exactly the kind of place you hope for when visiting Vermont. A true mom-and-pop classic diner. The staff was so nice and friendly. And the food was absolutely spectacular. Their homemade bread was soft and delicious; buttermilk pancakes to die for; french toast bacon sandwich and omelet were so rich and flavorful, and their chocolate chip whoopie pie ... heavenly! Would absolutely recommend to everyone.
