Big Bore Barbecue - Hanover

Celebrated my birthday here! I’ve had their food once before and was very impressed. Fun to check it out in person! Their Cubano was super delicious — and their fries were the best fries I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

First, our server Sophie, was fantastic! She made our first time eating here welcoming. She told us what the popular menu items were well as her personal recommendations. We appreciated her excellent service, Thank you!The food was great. I have never had decent pulled pork and BBQ ribs in Minnesota. I was sure that I would have to head south to curb my cravings. It is definitely worth the drive from the east side of the Twin Cities.The atmosphere was lively. In 95° full sun and no breeze, all the tables were full, inside and out. It was loud, but for good reason. Lots of happy customers.Cons: they could use more than the single person restrooms and display more than one sport on the multiple TV's. All TV's were set to the same baseball game. We ended up propping up a phone to watch the college football game.Overall, definitely worth the trip and we will be visiting again.

Service and food was amazing! We sat outside instead of in and it was a great atmosphere. Lots of parking, and wait staff were beyond helpful. The menu had many BBQ staples and a few surprises. Every bite was good. Would go back in a heartbeat!

I first tried BBB a year or two ago and loved it! The moment you step out of your car you can smell the meat being smoked! I even had them cater my wedding party! Steve (the man you talk to about catering) was super helpful and was great at helping me choose the food I needed for my guests! It’s a bit of a drive for me, but now when I’m craving BBQ I only go there. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the potato salad, it was to sweet for my liking but that’s just me.
