Maral - Hamburg

I had always wanted to try this restaurant, so many times I walked past it on the way to the Eppendorfer Baum station right beside it, and now I have the feeling I should have chosen another place to go... The place is a fine...mixture of a cocktail bar and a restaurant, very well designed to make the most of one of Hamburg's most important assets: water! That makes it very romantic indeed, a place for couples! The place is basically a sushi restaurant, with some other Asian specialities and very scarce other options, for those who don't appreciate sushi or alike. And it is also not the cheapest one, but hey, this is Eppendorf: price is a filter here! I had a steak with rice and vegetables, which was nice but absolutely nothing special, especially given its high price I left the place with the impression I could have cooked better myself at home, therefore rather frustrated and much poorer...

The best sushi invite you in the whole of Hamburg! Eating tastes great, everything fresh and wonderfully prepared. nice staff.

For a sushi lunch in hamburg we took this restaurant near the S-Bahn station eppendorfer baum. the staff is very friendly and we enjoyed the appetizer salad with salmon and avocado. the sushi was moderate. the rolls could be made better and the taste was nothing special. the prices are really friendly.

Very extensive (sushi) menu. everything is well prepared and served freshly. there are no sushi dishes available and therefore there is something for everyone. the mixed sushi dishes are highly recommended. very good value for money. cozy atmosphere, friendly service. I will definitely come back here.
