LF Bakery - Halifax

A great addition to life in Halifax. Wonderful place to go for coffee and a croissant--the best I've had outside of France...and as good as any I've had there! Also like the mini-baguette with raspberry jam and butter. The coffee is also excellent and in nice big cups. And when your leaving, take along some of their excellent baked goods, all in the French mode. Service is efficient and pleasant, and the fact that one park without too much difficulty near by is also a definite plus. My go-to coffee shop these days and a place to which I've taken lots of friends, all of whom like it. You can also have lunch there now.

I absolutely adore the pastries, especially the croissants which remind me of those I had in France. The shop has a delightful aroma and the staff is incredibly friendly.

I never want to purchase bread from a store again after visiting this restaurant. It is the type of place that really enhances the community.

Seriously the best croissant I've had since I moved out of Quebec 30 years ago. Will definitely be back often.

Just one word: delicious! Make sure to also try their teas. This authentic French bakery from France right in our own backyard is a dream come true. The delicious aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air every day.
