Bidrage med feedbackFantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fries were great with malt vinegar. The fish was amazing. Fried but not at all greasy. Lightly battered. Fresh. Probably some of the best fish in chips I've ever had in my lifetime. Would definitely recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience there a few years ago and this was the first chance to go in a couple of years due to the pandemic. The ferry ride from Halifax along with their delicious food makes for a great combo. The lightly battered fried scallops were fantastic as were the fried clams. I also loved the seafood chowder. I cannot recommend this place enough. My only regret is that I didn't have enough time to try everything. The prices are also cheap, if you're used to NYC prices like I am.
This restaurant is situated in the ferry terminal building and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The cashier was helpful in answering our questions. The food was made fresh and brought to our table promptly. The service was efficient, clean, and energetic. My trout burger was delicious, with light and fresh bread. I added a squeeze of fresh lemon for some extra sourness. My husband preferred his halibut taco after tasting my trout.
A must-try!! The scallop sandwich and fries were amazing. My husband got the scallops and they were exceptional. The kids loved the fish and chips, saying it was excellent. We also got a seafood platter to go and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning next time we visit Nova Scotia.
We enjoyed delicious fried clams with a view of the harbor and they were excellent. The clams were cooked perfectly and a good size. The restaurant is a small market with a fantastic seafood menu and great service. We definitely plan on returning. On our next visit, we tried more clams, a lobster roll, scallops, and fish. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served in good portions. The fish was one of the best I've ever had, and the tartar sauce was fantastic too.
