Bidrage med feedbackWhen you arrive at this restaurant, you may feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth the journey. They offer dishes made with fake chicken (seitan) such as General Tso's chicken, which was delicious. However, the Ma Po Tofu was disappointing and lacked flavor, so I recommend opting for the garlic broccoli instead.
I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian version of General Tso's chicken.
This is a very small Asian restaurant in a strip mall next to a grocery store. There isn't a lot of seating but you can dine-in. It looks like they do primarily take out service. Be sure to talk to the staff and clarify no-meat/no-fish sauces, such as the white sauce.
The only vegan options I knew of on the menu were Steamed Vegetables and Steamed Vegetables with Tofu, without the sauce. However, I don't believe any other restaurant in the city offers Steamed Vegetables with Tofu without a special request. My wife, who is not vegan, enjoys their Vegetarian Chicken dishes which are stir-fried with a sauce. These dishes also seem unique, so those interested in their vegan status may want to inquire further.
You will think you are going nowhere in the middle, but they are there! They serve fake bun (since, I believe) in several of their dishes, including general tso’s, that was great. the ma po tofu was wet and tasteless, so skip it. take garlauch broccoli instead.
