まるやす Shí Táng

I visited this restaurant for the first time in years, even though it is close to my home. I ordered the hormone hot pot for 500 yen, a small rice for 130 yen, and afterwards, I added a bowl of Chinese noodles for 500 yen. The friendly owner prepared the dishes for me, and while waiting for them to cook, it was hard not to crave a beer haha. The hormone was tender and the soup had a spicy miso flavor, which paired perfectly with beer. It was delicious. After seeing other customers enjoying ramen, I couldn't resist ordering a bowl for myself. The Showa-style Chinese noodles were incredibly tasty, with firm, thin noodles and a ginger-flavored soup made from chicken bone and dried fish. A friend mentioned that it reminded them of the noodles in Ichinoseki City, which I could see the resemblance. The only downside is that there seems to be limited parking in front of the restaurant, but that's to be expected in the countryside, so it's not a big deal haha. This restaurant has definitely become one of my favorites.

I happened to stop by this restaurant on a business trip. The nostalgic and old-fashioned interior made me feel right at home, and the hormone hot pot I had was absolutely delicious. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

After seeing everyone's reviews, I decided to visit. It was still 11:30 am, so there were no other customers. I had hormone pot and rice. The owner also paid attention to the timing of the completion and I enjoyed it very much. The cost performance was also good, so I think I will choose this place when I visit Oofu in the future.
