Chicago Woodfire Pizza Co - Gurnee

For being a Friday night, the place had consistent traffic, but not very busy. It was VERY loud inside and somewhat distracting being inside a mall, so much so, that we asked to move to a corner in order to have a conversation. Dinner was ok. It was our first time here and we both agreed that this place would be better for lunch.

Worse experience ever! Food was bad including the salad. They charged us per glass of water and per soda. Staff was no where to be found. Avoid at all cost.

1st-Time Diner. My party ordered Shrimp Ceaser Salad, Chicken Mac n Cheese, Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, and a Pizza. The service was very inattentive and slow- no drink order taken, no mention of specials/ menu additions, no additional napkins offered, no water refills, I could go on and on. Staff also is not appropriately or professionally dressed (one server wore a pair of daisy dukes . Entrees and salads were not up expectation or to temperature (ex. Dressed salad greens were warm, but shrimp were cold. Red Onion on ceaser salad? Fettuccine pasta was unseasoned and the past not throughly cooked (not even al dente . Pizza is average. I was pretty embarrassed by this meal and the total experience, since I chose to take my family for Sunday dinner. I would not plan to dine here again..very mediocre.

Very good pizza. Good deal, and fine service and drinks.

Pizza just wasn’t great. I was expecting something more exceptional than pizza I can pretty much get anywhere.
