Bidrage med feedbackWe discovered the host house by chance. All were hungry so we returned! The host was so sweet and accommodating. And the price-performance ratio is top the food was very good. If we're close next time, we'll get back to the bushes.
Very delicious food, rustic but well-maintained ambience, hidden gem
Very delicious food, cozy and beautiful ambience outside. Has taken a little long until the food came, but it was said earlier that it takes longer. Price performance is good.
Halfway between Pritzwalk and Kyritz, close to the B 103 is the beautiful round village Kolrep. Since 1993, in a brick building over 100 years old, there is the inn to the old oak. An old oak near the host house gave him the name. With rural tradition and the rustic cosiness of the long past, guests are pampered with good home kitchen. Everything is freshly prepared from salad sauce to beef or roast potatoes. They place great value on fresh local ingredients such as eggs and vegetables from the farm or herbs from your own garden. After eating, the eldest liqueur is offered from hand-creamed cups according to its own recipe. All dishes are served in dishes that are turned, glazed, painted and fired in the in-house ceramic on the ceramic disc. The host house was unfortunately only opened on weekends. There is nothing without pre-order, usually it's always full. The atmosphere is almost familiar with the host. Otherwise, the staff is somewhat uncoordinated. It was beaten for 15 minutes until the card was handed over to us. During the time, the operation ran past the table and stood behind the 3 m away Dresen and waited for drinks. Apparently, they only wanted to work the tables one after the other. After 20 minutes we had our drinks and 40 minutes! After our arrival we could also order the food. Until the main course it was then only another 50 minutes in total 90 minutes after arrival. At a simultaneous celebration in the hall, this was only partly apologisable. But now for dinner: After a very good season I had a grill plate with roast potatoes. Behind the three varieties Fleich are pigs, turkeys and liver?! Well, but everything is very, very tasty. After dinner we took a whole bottle home. already included in the total price of 110€ The PLV is great. Conclusion: I would go to dinner again and again. Maybe the service will be a little more professional. Sometimes you had the feeling that everyone here just went after his hobby. But perhaps it is for many visitors that the attraction lies in this very rural idyll, everything is somewhat slow.
If you are hungry and want something super-leckeres for your money, with patient and friendly service, then you should definitely keep here. It was perfect and super beautiful, a great cozy wonderful ambience. We would rather have checked in if the hotel in Dresden wasn't waiting. But we're coming back. Thank you
