Friends in our Kitchen - Guelph

This restaurant has stolen my heart. The food is prepared with so much love and attention to detail. I have never ate so many different and wonderful cuisines. Family run, authentic, with a genuine joy for cooking.

This is small restaurant in Guelph with the most tasty food I think I ever had.Not an overly dressy place and very reasonably priced.They also have a massive selection of desserts.My advise, call ahead and make a reservation.I'd be more then happy to return again.

Friends is a nice quaint cafe with personalized and friendly service and an open kitchen concept that makes you feel like you are guests at a friend's place. The food is always very good with unique as well as classic specials and prices are very reasonable. The tuna sandwich is a favourite and the soups are always nice. I had a nice risotto topped with a nice Italian tomato sauce. Enjoy!

With plum tomatoes, leeks, garlic, white wine & Saffron with mashed potatoes.Entered at 723pm, sat immediately and ordered by 725pm.I love this quaint yet classy little gem downtown! (Don't let the whipped butter packets or plastic knife handle fool you...)The staff is always nice and knowledgeable and after informing my waitress that I'm back at the gym and looking for a large serving of protein, she advised that the beef short ribs and the lamb shank are about the same size serving..726pm bread basket with delicious whipped butter was brought, and I had to dig in. I intended to go to 39 Carden but they had a private event. I'M HUNGRY.740pm dinner arrivesSO tender! I'm not sure that I've ever had a better shank of lamb. A little fatty, as lamb is.. but the sauce is amazing! The kale on which the lamb rested is perfect... I love how they present the veggies, too.Perfect portion. I love this place... I've never seen it at capacity, so forget everything you just read! I want to always be able to walk in and have the single table near the door, haha.

This restaurant consistently serves freshly cooked, high quality dishes that are full of flavor. The seafood is always prepared well and they also offer one of the best caesar salads in Guelph, one of only 2 places in town where you can enjoy it.
