Bidrage med feedbackMy taquitos were luke warm, the nachos were good. Fish tacos and chorizo potato tacos were horrible. The manager was great, she took the tacos off and it helped a little but overall the experience which was my wifes birthday was not good.
Used to LOVE Solita. Vibe was off. The food was sub-par. No where near what it used to be. I paid $12 for ONE taco that was tiny. That enraged me but it was my choice. Menu and waitress said the portion was bigger. Nope- this was a street taco. Ordered a bunch of our favorites. Prices are way up and portion sizes are way down. Paid nearly $200 for a family of 4. I'll only be returning for Happy Hour
Great that it was not crowded; the food was fantastic and served fairly quickly once we ordered....our server was difficult to locate most of the time so we never were asked about our food, more water, more chips, until we actually stopped her at another table and when we were presented with the bill, we had a double charge for one dish when we mentioned it, the server immediately refuted it as the mandatory service fee until we explained more than once that we were talking about being charged for an extra dish, not the service charge. My dining partner actually contradicted me leaving a small tip as she felt no tip was more deserving. We like this establishment for the food, but this time around, the service was really disappointing.
The waiter was virtually not there. We waited for a while to get his attention. Also, out of 6 of us, two of us have to wait for our food to come out. All food should be out at the same time. It was a birthday celebration. I put that info down in Comments section when I made the reservation but no one seemed to read it. I also told the waiter, and he completely ignored it. I had to ask the waitress at the next table and she was gracious enough and order the ice cream w a candle for my friend.
Tacos were delicious. Wish the vampiro taco came with the Aioli on the side a little too much on it for me personally. Albondiga was delicious. Elote could have used a little less aioli as well
