Rave reviews from other people were a reason to try the local kalachi. There was no one in the small room except a young saleswoman during the day on a weekday. It was not expected that you would want to spend time or eat baked goods “to go.” I also saw several thermoses with ready made coffee not my thing. I'm usually looking for a place where I can have a good time with freshly brewed coffee and delicious pastries. And so, kolaches are round buns with a variety of protein fillings inside (about $4 and several options with fruit jam such as cheesecakes. My choice fell on Philly Cheese Steak (I asked for it to be heated . The filling was wonderful and the dough had a pre cooked feel to it. It was viscous (gluten? and stuck to my teeth.
