Hotel Eckert - Grenzach-Wyhlen

In addition to a tasting menu with meat and fish, the Eckert also offers a completely vegan menu. Ingenious vegan cuisine at a high level. Only the service personnel have to learn what vegan is. A vegan wine recommendation would have been nice.

The Eckert is a gourmet restaurant offering a normal 6 courses menu and a vegan 6 courses menu. Of course you can also take the respective courses only individually. It is a bit more expensive but it is worth it! Such compositions (such as melone and wasabi or dumpling and kumquat) would never be cooked at home but it is an incredible taste experience.

In Eckert, consideration is given to a vegan diet if you preorder a multi-course menu. In the menu vegan dishes are marked accordingly. Nevertheless, at the 6-course menu I had the feeling that one simply removes the non-vegan compents of the menu instead of replacing them equivalent. The taste experience was still good! For the region, the Eckert is definitely an enrichment.

Dear Eckert team, we slept at your hotel yesterday and ate in the restaurant sensationally well. But the communication on the rooms has upset me pretty much: this is sexist, tasteless and what you have on your service staff, I dare not imagine. I can't!

The delivery service is great. Timely, tasteful, temperature and price... Everything really recommended. We'll be a repeater.
